Year 1
Initial Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion
Is the first year preparation program for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. This program takes place during the 11am Mass at St John Vianney Church. The children go to catechetics for the first part of the Mass, while the parents attend the Mass. After the Liturgy of the Word and during collection,parents gather in the foyer of the church to meet their children and return to Mass together.
It is mandatory for all children to complete this year before going into the year 2 program.
